Acrylic Injection Moulding Process

With extreme accuracy and consistency, various plastic goods can be produced using the versatile manufacturing technique known as acrylic plastic injection moulding. Melting acrylic material is injected into a specially created mould, which is then cooled and hardened to produce the part needed.

Step 1: Making a mould

To prevent any traces or impurities from impairing the quality of the finished product, the mould is adequately cleaned and prepared for the injection moulding procedure.

Step 2: Infusion and heating

When heated to a molten state, acrylic resin granules are injected under high pressure into the ready mould, causing the material to flow accurately and fill the mould cavities.

Step 3: Freezing and solidifying

The molten acrylic inside the mould is helped to solidify by the cooling channels that were incorporated into the mould.

Step 4: Removal and completion

The mould is opened, and the newly created acrylic elements are expelled after the acrylic has sufficiently cooled and formed.
